PORCO Brasserie Italienne celebrates Porchetta- its ‘hero’ product that started it all. A succulent Italian slow-roasted pork sandwich that is moist, juicy and full of flavour. Served on a soft, fresh rosette bun, lovingly made by three longtime friends and now business partners:  Nicolina Servello, Johnny D’Amico and Johnny Pedicelli.  

Members of an exclusive NDG cooking club, the trio and their team are preparing specialties that recall their childhood memories of family dining in Italian households. Nothing delights them more than sharing that nostalgia with the NDG community, and watching them form their own cherished memories of good food and joyous company.

During the summer of 2015 at the Monkland Street Festival, the culinary trio introduced its unique interpretation of porchetta- an Italian speciality dating back to the Roman Empire. Fast-forward two years, and four festivals later, they have opened PORCO at the foot of the same spot where they first introduced their hero product.


Today, they see PORCO as an inviting neighborhood eatery that appeals to locals and anyone looking for a comfortable setting and authentic, satisfying, and good quality food.
